I prefer the Marvel comics/movies. I think Marvel does a better job at building a different world and the characters' development over time.

I’m a Marvel fan usually but if I would pick the Batman movie with Heath Ledger over all and any!

Marvel. Though i think this is because i have watched all the movies but i havent for dc. I did start but i wasnt as interested. My fav character is Jarvis. Anyone else??

Marvel for sure!!
Definitely way more detailed and entertaining!!
I like individual novels of DC but not so much as a world !

It's Marvel for me - what with Spiderman, Thor, and all. But I like Wonder Woman from the DC stable too.

DC taps into more psychological and moral issues. Even the villains have a greater backstory, adding to the layer of the plot. On psychological themes, how could the hero prevail when he/she can't punch through or see the problem? That's the question I want to know the ending of. Comics are supposed to be light reading, but I get more satisfaction when my brain works even just for a bit.
