Would you go on a "summer strike" from life?

:D
Hey there!
I am new to this book lovers club and this just happens to my first post on here.
But ironically, I would like to talk about a Korean slice of life drama series I watched recently rather than a book.
I hope you all won't judge me severely :)
Well, "Summer Strike" is one of those dramas which come into your life right when you need it the most. It revolves around a young , 28 year old
Yeo- Reum ( which translates to 'summer ' in Korean) who has been working in the same company for 4 years and is overworked, underconfident and lost in the busy city.
When her boyfriend dumps her and her mother dies, she finds herself confused and sad. Until one day, when she just decides to quit her job in Seoul and decides to go live in the sea side village of Angok for the summer.
The journey she takes and the experiences she has in that small village turns her life upside down and helps her find the beauty in small, everyday things. It helps her regain her confidence and hope in life.
"Summer strike" is definitely a must watch drama for those who are unable to love themselves or get lost in their everyday lives.
It is a comfort drama which brings you lots of peace and happiness.
I would love to know your comments on the drama after watching it. It is available on Netflix and Rakhten Viki.
Have a nice day everyone!! :D

Absolutely! A summer strike from life, immersed in books and movies, exploring new worlds and narratives, sounds like a rejuvenating escape. It's a chance to recharge, gain new perspectives, and indulge in the magic of storytelling.

A hypothetical summer strike from life sounds tempting. Taking a break to rejuvenate, explore new interests, and connect with loved ones can be a refreshing way to recharge and gain a new perspective.

Yes absolutely! What's not to love in a "summer strike" where I can catch up on Netflix, my reading, and just my thoughts, in general!

Being working class a "summer strike from life" is what I badly need. The kind of peacefulness where I don't have to think about responsibilities.
