The movie color purple and the movie

I love both the book And the movie The color purple. But if you seen and read the book you know that they're a lot of things in the book that is not in the movie. For an example in the movie sug and ceily was lesbian lovers but it was very hush. Well in the book it paints their relationship as a little more serious what's your opinion???

I would say that I think I love both. It's hard for me to decide what's best with things like this sometimes, but if I had to pick, I would go for the latter.
