For about 10 years now my comfort show has been F.R.I.E.N.D.S.I still laugh to this day watching reruns of it even though I know what's about to happen next. I could say it has saved me and comforted me.
Even after I have watched so many shows in multiple languages none of them could takes its crown in my heart.

My favorite comfort shows are ones where I can play them in the background without having to actually pay any attention to the plot, just have the noise going on. Mostly that's New Girl, Pretty Little Liars, Never Have I Ever.

Personally, I would prefer a comfort movie. But sometimes, when I’m extremely sad, I will go for the comfort series because it will eat away the majority of my sad time and I have to calm myself down and have a change of mood. But mostly if I am upset about little things or day-to-day work hassles, then my go-to would be a comfort movie. Some of my favourite shows are Friends, how I met your mother and the office. Most of the movies that I watch for comfort are usually comedies as well. But sometimes, I like to dwell in my sorrows, so I watch movies that are sad or similar to the stuff I’m going through.

my comfort tv show is Glee. As bad as it got the last two seasons, it is still enjoyable to watch (even with Mark Salling being in it)

my comfort movie is any of the Marvel movies (new and old)

Glee had some really great and cute moments. I didn't watch every ep but I enjoy a lot of the songs and music videos.

I used to be into soap operas, I know it's a bit unusual! Over here in the UK, we've got those long-lasting soap operas like Coronation Street that have been around for ages. But, I've quit watching them, not hooked anymore. I used to find them oddly comforting, don't ask me why!
These days, I'm all about "The Big Bang Theory" for my feel-good sitcom fix...

I personally like to switch between the two depending on how much time I have and what mood I am in.
I have a few comfort shows. One Tree Hill, Gilmore Girls, Army Wives to name a few. I cycle through them.

This might be weird but I like watching disaster movies. War of the Worlds, Greenland, 2012, The Day After Tomorrow, etc.
