Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children movie yes or no?

I haven't read the books yet, so I felt like it was okay to watch the movie. It was good on its own, but my opinion has been known to change after reading the books movies are based off.

I read the first book and part of the second book and I have watched the movie. Besides a few minor details the movie almost nailed the first book. It was actually really good until the end where they quickly shoved the second and third book into the last half hour. It made it confusing and honestly not fun to watch. I think if they would have left it just as the first book it would have been way better.

You're right. It was the worst. I was confused for a while cause i've just read the book, and watched it. I don't know why they did that to the movie.

I already watched the movie and sad to say I was really disappointed. Especially when they switched Olive and Emma and their peculiarities. I couldn't help but be bothered by it the whole time I was watching. The chemistry between Jacob and Olive felt really weird.

I watched the movie. I thought it was awesome! I have always loved Tim Burton's spin on things, and it seemed quite interesring. Actually watching the movie sparked my interest in reading the books. I had never heard of them before the movie. But for me i understand that not everything is portrayable in a movie from a book, so there is an expectation that there will be a certain amount of changes. I guess when i read the books i'll know if it was within the reasonable limit

I read the book and saw the movie. The movies never are the same as the book. This movie was alright, but you will be disappointed if you have read the book. I generally stick with books but the kids wanted me to watch it with them.?

I've seen the film but not read the book. I thought it was great, and nothing like I thought it would be from the trailers. If the book is very different, I think I'll give it a miss and just keep enjoying the film.

This is the one movie I watched before I read the book and I liked it. But I also really like Eva green and Tim Burton. With that said, I went back and read the book. I should have trusted my gut and read the book first, but it is what it is.
