I love romance but hate tragedy so I never went for titanic. I prefer Disney and DreamWorks since a happy ending it guaranteed.

I love the Kiera Knightly version of Pride and Prejudice. Also, 10 Things I Hate About You, 13 Going on 30 and While You Were Sleeping.

Mouline Rouge is such a bittersweet movie. I love the Sounds of Music, the princess bride and so many others!

The Note Book is really good. I love A Walk to Remember, Loving Leah, and A Walk in the Clouds. So many good ones it would take a while to list them all!

Anything with Keira Knightley in it, really. Oh, and Austen adaptations.

Notebook goes without saying

besides that:
Princess Bride
Ladyhawke (still one of my favourites ever!) with Michelle Pfeiffer and Rutger Hauer
The Lady and the Highwayman (with a very young Hugh Grant)

English Patient
Titanic but the British one with Catherine Zeta-Jones

I love movies, so I have a few favorite romances.
Serendipity
You've Got Mail
High Spirits
Truly, Madly, Deeply (I love Alan Rickman!)
Sense and Sensibility (see, Alan Rickman)
Bed of Roses
Mrs. Winterborne
Much Ado About Nothing
Music From Another Room
Where the Heart Is
I'm going to stop now, though I could probably keep going for awhile.

It is strange that it's not more famous... I think it was better than Princess Bride (maybe because it was more serious)

Oh, I loved Titanic back when I first watched it! I found their love story so beautiful and bittersweet. I'm not sure how well it adapted to the pass of time, but it was lovely.
