I am a huge Breaking Bad fan, and I was happy to see a happy conclusion to Jesse’s story, but I did not like this movie. I found it slow moving and I found it jarring to see older actors portraying their younger characters. This is unlike Better Call Saul, where Bob Odenkirk seems to be younger than he was on Breaking Bad. The technology for the new Will Smith movie may have come in handy.

I agree... I liked seeing the wrap up but there was so much more to the story that I would have liked to have seen wrapped up. Like Walter’s family. And honestly it would have been interesting to have either had Walter survive or have him “haunt” Jesse. There was a lot they could have done and for a series that was really exciting it kinda fell flat.

I yield to no one in my appreciation of BREAKING BAD and I consider Jesse Pinkman the heart of the series.
I very much looked forward to seeing EL CAMINO and even considered buying tickets to one of the limited run screenings at theatres.
I watched it twice at home, and while I found Jesse's travails tense and compelling - something was missing. But WHAT?
It took me several days to have it dawn on me. the entire story was almost exclusively the domain of male characters with very puny representation of women. No spoilers from me but...

I liked it! Very much reminiscent of Breaking Bad in the sense that what you think happens next invariably does not come to pass.

A worthy closure for Jesse's story in my opinion.

I liked it, but it could have been better for sure. There’s not a real good antagonist and for sure we are missing Walter. Someone here mentioned it would have been good to have Walter haunt Jesse in hallucinations. Given Jesse is fragile after his captivity, I think it would have been plausible and would be a genius idea! Anyway, it was good to be back in that world.

I liked it, but I think there could have been more thrills. But I really like that Jesse got a nice ending, which is good for him.

It really was an absolutely good one. I love the story, characters, plot, themes, suspense, and what a fantastic ending.
