So, I absolutely loved The Secret Life of Bees book! And naturally I was really excited that there was a movie adaptation, but upon watching it I was severely disappointed. I felt that they made the main character Lily seem annoying and deviated from the book too much. I'd love to know if anybody else had strong feelings for the movie, positive or negative.

I thoroughly enjoyed the book as well. I was unaware that there is a movie adaptation. I am intrigued but wary of looking out for it based on your experience.
