Which one do you do the most? Because whenever I read the book first, I'll get disappointed with the movie.

It always depends, as you say, if I read the book first the movie will feel awful. But if I saw the movie first and then discovered it had a book, normally the book will feel too far from the movie and I will like it less.
In that regard, I do think they are some books that are more enjoyable and dynamic as movies if the book is too slow or not really well structured. Take the Divergent series as an example, I have always enjoyed the movies far more, even if I read the first book first.

Reading the book. Movies cannot include every minute detail imparted in the book. That being said- things like adding some amazing soundtrack to different sequences can make movies a good watch too!

I prefer to see the movie first and then read the book. So I enjoy having the same story twice more because the book always has more details than the movies can't show.

I prefer to watch the movie first, usually after reading the book, I look forward to watching some scenes acted out and it seems they don’t make the cut most times. So now the movie first and the book next.

It depends on the book and it depends on the movie. Although, a bad book is much worse than a bad movie.

Since visual effects have a stronger appeal than written words, I would not mind watching the movie but again it depends on where you are. For instance if I'm travelling I would not mind taking a book with me.

Of all time reading books has always been better than watching the movies. Although, I have seen some exceptional cases like the adaptation of the sandman.

I prefer to read the books first and then watch the movie. I would love to see how they story has been brought to life and how the actors have portrayed them on-screen. But, definitely books over movies.

Do only once or you will be disappointed. I have often read books and then watch movies which has left me so disappointed. I don't recall any movie standing to the aww that books have provided.

I would prefer reading a book. Because I can imagine and picturize the characters, the scenes all by myself.

I prefer reading the book first because I like picturing the characters and scenes, but sometimes I don't mind watching the movies first. For example, I watched the Eragon and Twilight movies first before reading the book. And I think I watched the first Harry Pottermovie before having finished reading the book. When I watch the movie first, I then picture the characters from the movie as the book characters, but I will still like the book and sometimes be pleasantly surprised even if I already watched the movie. But on the other hand, if I read the book first it's very likely I will be disapponted on the movie, so I get the people who have said they prefer watching the movie first.
