There are many things that I don't like to see in a movie. I don't like to see violence on children and killing people in a brutal way. How about you what scenes in the movie that you don't want to see?

I hate having to see the main character die or if it has a depressing story like cancer, abuse etc.

Not so much a scene, but just the sounds of someone on the toilet. Why filmmakers think I want to see that is beyond me.

Same here. Especially when I am in theaters and eating popcorn.

I hate seeing some cute innocent animal in pain or dying.

I also have to third the comments about bathroom/toilet scenes; unless there is some major symbolism behind using that as a setting for a scene, it serves no purpose, we all go to the bathroom so why am I spending my money watching this?

I personally do not like scenes where the main character does die and also where children or any other type of minors get killed because of some sort of mistake they make. I just find that really sad

I absolutely hate sad endings to the point where I have to know how a movie ends before I even watch it.

Oh! I don't like to see any animal in pain too! An animal lover like me would never watch movies with such scenes.

Oh! I don't like to see any animal in pain too! An animal lover like me would never watch movies with such scenes.

I think there is a website where you can type in or select the title and it tells you if the animals live. It might still be called "Does the Dog Die?" , but I'm not sure.

I agree with all of the above. I really don't like it when animals get hurt. I hate battle scenes when horses are involved and the horses get hurt.

Anything to do with animals hurt, sad, yelping, I can’t handle any of it. Also anything that’s really gory with a lot of blood involved is not something I like to look directly at. It is also the worst when you can hear the blood, in any way, shape or form. Blood should not make a noise.

Anything that involves hurting children is a huge no no por me. Also, I can't handle rape scenes. There's one in Irrèversible by Gaspar Noé that is just BRUTAL.

On a lighter note, I hate the "moisty" noise character's make while kissing. Ugh.

This is such an interesting thread. I agree with @mariana90 that those scenes are very difficult to watch.
But it has become common now to have over the top violence in most of the series and movies!

Agree to these! I also don't like those bad touches or the knife-tracing-skin scenes in some movies. I get the point of it, to engage the audience or heighten the drama, but it's a bit too much when I watch.

Just like men physically hurting women. Top of that would be the choke. I hate watching choke scenes since I sort of "feel" it.
