Icon looking for a mystery/thriller with a strong female lead?

I had received “final girls” by riley sager a few years ago in my botm subscription box and absolutely adored that book. it was the book that had gotten me out of a reading rut and it holds a special place in my heart. i love how strong the female lead was. especially the concept of the book being based on a group of women being the sole survivors (each in their own situations) and deemed the “final girls.” anyway, enough rambling, i’ve been looking everywhere for a good murder mystery/thriller that also has a strong female lead and was wondering if anyone knew of any?

Stalking Jack the Ripper is just the book you are looking for. I don't recommend reading the whole series though. The strong female lead at the beginning of the series became so stupid by the third book.
