Any fantasy novel recommendations for beginners
I’ve been told often to “broaden” my horizons in terms of the fantasy genre but I really can’t get into it because of the complex builds up in power rank and world system.

Your search seems a little unclear. Fantasy is fun fiction. If you want power rank and world system type fiction that is enjoyable I would suggest Ray Bradbury and George Orwell.

I recommend the book by Julie Rogers entitled Falling Stars. This is Julie Rogers' 7th novel.
