Looking for suggestions on Mystery/Paranormal

Post by RJ65051 »

I'm an avid reader of mystery, detective exploration, and/or a bit of paranormal-ghost type books. Any suggestions please!

I would recommend "Inspector Mage" by Aleese Hughes. It is free on kindle unlimited.

The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman (ghosts)

The Witching Hour by Anne Rice plus the rest of the trilogy (features an old family ghost)

Agatha Christie books, if you haven’t tried them, especially ones where Poirot is the detective (mystery)

Victoria Thompson has a series called The Gaslight Mysteries, which takes place in the Victorian Age and is a lot of fun (mystery)

Oh, and there’s a really short one called Turn Of The Screw that I highly recommend for your paranormal pleasure. But it depends on how you interpret the story, maybe it isn’t about the paranormal at all. That’s what will make you want to read it twice!

What about Lockwood and Company? I watched the series, now starting the books and they seem pretty interesting :)

:) I would recommend "Ghost Walk," by Melissa Bowersock. The story involves an ex-LAPD detective working with a half-Navajo man who communicates with ghosts.

If you’re looking for a quick mystery that can be read in one sitting, Graveyard Shift by ML Rio is a good one.
