Strange mix, I am sure. I prefer to stay within fiction and science fiction at that. I am willing to read almost anything if it means new vocabulary and a few books to add to my stash. (;

Try Cinda Williams Chima if you like fantasy. She has several books out already and its still writing more.

Chuck Palahnuik and Clive Barker are my two faves.
