Greetings all! I hail from Nanaimo in Vancouver Island, where i dont work in the winters (my normal job is in landscaping), so i spend 6 months of the year reading tons...as no one i know really reads all that much, i figured this would be the best way to chat about the written word! so hello!

Welcome and I find you very lucky to get 6 months of the year to do nothing but read. Im in classes most of the year so I don't have time to read except when I am on breaks from them.

Have fun reading!

Oh Nanaimo!!! I love Nanaimo Bars! I tried them my last trip to Canada (although I was in Nova Scotia, not Nanaimo) and absolutely loved them. I do love Vancouver Island though. It's one of my favorite places I've been! I'd love to go back someday!

Welcome to the forums!
