Hello All,
I am very excited to have stumbled upon this opportunity, to not only find and read new and upcoming unlimited books, but also to have a forum of others that understand the bookworm nature. I am a lifelong learner and always glean something from each book I read. I feel that reading a book is much like meeting a person, you grow and expand, not only your knowledge, but also your vocabulary and the understanding of how humans interact and behave. I have only touched on a small portion of the Online Book Club, but thus far, I am pretty excited.

I do have to say, that it is a little overwhelming at first, and will take me some time to fully integrate myself to all of the forums, the norms and the "what to do's" and "what to not do's".

A suggestion, would be to hook up newcomers with a seasoned professional in the early facets of their integration, to have someone to reach out to and ask questions and to guide them through slowly so that the website does not scare them into a very limited corner? Just a thought.

Thanks Again,
Renee Peyregne, BS, MBA, SHRM-SCP

Hi there!
My name is Kaitlin and I am a stay-at-home, homeschooling mother of 2 boys. I love reading very much and hope to foster that joy of reading in my children. We spend a lot of time doing read-alouds and I enjoy using this opportunity to explore new books with them. I am so glad children's books are included in OBC.
Happy to be here with others who love to read!

Hi everyone. I am new here and still trying to get setup. I verified my email, but on my score it is -10 because it says I have not. Any ideas?

Hi guys! I'm Radim. I found out abt online book club through multiple reels on instagram. I am a part of genz.

I absolutely love reading! I have my preferences though, I can't force myself to read everything unfortunately. And because I like reading, I also enjoy writing! Although my writings are quite... well let's just say they need a lot of improvement.

I don't have any particular favourite books either, although a few years back I was obsessed with Harry Potter. I do like romance, dark-romance, thriller, crime, fantasy, and of those sorts. I absolutely despise sci-fi and historical fiction and of those sorts. I don't like nor dislike non-fiction, but I prefer not.

I am a very boring person so that is about all that I like or say about myself. Happy reading!

Hello fellow booklovers,
Apparently I’ve been a member here since 2019, I must have just registered an account and forgot about it, but I’m very happy to have come across this website again.
I love all kinds of books depending on my mood at the time. If I really had to choose a favourite genre, I would probably say crime, mystery and detective type of stuff.
I’m looking forward to getting involved in the book of the month discussions and I’ve really liked the book of the day selection so far.
My bookshelf is a bit of a mess at the moment because I imported it from Goodreads and a lot of the books didn’t match up properly, so I need to go and Clean that up. I love how this website has such an organised book category, I hope one day to be a bookshelf monitor to help keep it clean and tidy.
Looking forward to discussing with you all.

Hello everyone.
Though I am not a consistent reader, I may become one due to this platform, as there are plenty of books available in every genre and from every area of the world, and that is also for free or at discounted rates.
Your knowledge would definitely be increased, and as it is said, 'knowledge is power.'
This platform not only feeds the hunger of readers but also pays for that.

Hi, Kaitlin. Welcome to OBC. My name is Gerry. I have been a member since April 2023. I like to read and review books. I have reviewed a few children's books. If you are interested you can check my reviewer page to see all of the books I have reviewed. Also, I wonder if you would like me to read and reply to your reviews to help you to increase your points in popularity. Popularity counts for 30 out of 100 points used to increase your reviewer level. I would ask that you do the same for me. I am trying to form a group of reviewers who will read and comment on each other's reviews. Not only does this increase popularity, it also gives us a book-club feeling. Let me know if this interests you. :techie-studyinggray:

Hi, Genesis. Welcome to OBC. I am a book reviewer. I also enjoy reading other people's reviews. I am trying to form a group of reviewers to read and reply to each other's reviews. We can gain up to 30 out of 100 points to increase our reviewer level by recieving a lot of replies to our reviews. I am willing to read and reply to your reviews if you are willing to do the same for me. This will not only help to increase our points in popularity but will also expose us to more books and give us a real "club" feeling. Let me know if this interests you.

Hi, Genesis. Under the picture that represents your name, I can see your latest review book title. When I click on that, it brings me to your review so that I can read it and leave a reply. Before typing my reply to your review I click on the quotation mark " so that you will recieve a notification after I have submitted the reply. When you see my reply you will see my reviewer name and picture, and underneath, my latest review book title. You repeat the process that I just outlined above for my review. Now, I am going to read and reply to your latest review. Thank you for your support. When you reply to my reviews, you will see that quite a lot of people reply to my reviews. I have worked all year replying to their reviews. Try replying to their reviews and see if any respond by returning the favor. If not, I suggest you could reach out to them individually to see if any are interested in reciprocating with you. Good luck, and don't hesitate to ask me any questions you may have. :techie-studyinggray:
