It's all about me

Post by anita blake »

Hi.

First of all I hate introductions, I tend to avoid them if I can. It is amazing how many friends I have who's names I don't actually know because we don't do introductions lol

O.K lets get this party started. I chose Anita Blake as a User name because I love Laurel K Hamilton books. I was recommended the first book Guilty pleasures by a friend, who said I was just like Anita Blake. I think he meant, grumpy and sarcastic, not a blood thirsty vampire slayer, but you never know some days

I mostly read Science fiction, fantasy, horror (Not Steven King) and a handful of biographies that catch my eye.

I appear to have become mildly dyslexic as I have got older, (I also have discalculus) my grammar has always sucked. This seems to be a problem to some people, so I have left a link in my signature where people can go gripe about it. Cause I am sick of hearing the grammar police whining. :D

OK that's my intro

Thank you for the welcome. Glad there are no grammar police here. I thought there wasn't on a couple of other forums I use, but it turns out there is  Oh well if it makes them feel better and more superior we shall have to let them be :D

Welcome Anita Blake! Nope, no Nazi grammar police here. Quite a few of the members only speak and write English as their second (or 3rd or more ) langauge. Besides I'm not exactly the queen of gammar myself! This is sight is about enjoying books, not worrying about the little details. Hope you have a good time here. Bye for now!
