Hi,

my name is Tarek I am 22 years old and an history major at the Universoty of Kassel. Due some serious health problems I was forced to take a brake from studying and will not be ablte to return until fall. As I can neither go out much for the same reason I picked up writing as a mean to kill time and to improve my English (which is just a second language for me). Therefore I am currently looking for an online community about writing fiction where I can learn a few things, and bugger others with annoying questions. I don't write to publish anything, nor do I have anything interesting or important to say, but simply to fight my boredom, keep sanity as far as possible and improve my foreign language skills at the same time. If this is the right place for such an undertaking I am glad to have found it, but if my perception was wrong just tell me and I'll keep looking elsewhere.

Hi Tarek! You have my sympathies...being unable to work due to illness is how I found online forums too. Sucks big time doesn't it? (The being sick part, no the forums...he he) Hope you are able to go back to school soon. Good luck with your writing. :)
