Hello Everyone

I'm Josie, a retired teacher - - but please tell me what "retired" means for I have just written about 170 poems this year to add to the other 50, ha ha. My husband is supposed to be retired also, but works as hard as I do making our website. But to me, retired means being able to choose what I do with my day - and if it is writing poems, well there's worse things to do. The poems are mainly for children, but adults love them too.
My husband Mike said that I must stop writing and take up a new hobby - so lead me into "reading" instead and make his life easier. ha ha
Apart from this, I am busy in lots of other directions, including studying Italian, chatting over the internet (Skype) and especially having lots of fun with my two little grandchidlren: Jessica who is almost 3, and Daniel who is 15 months old. Great life! Yes, "retirement" (or another name) is very nice.
