Introduction

Hi everyone. My name is Deborah and I just joined Online Book Club. I am a former school librarian from NY and recently moved to the midwest. Talk about culture shock! I am an avid reader (shocking, right??) and for some reason my favorite genre at the moment is horror. (I told my bil I would never watch "The Walking Dead," but somehow got bitten by the zombie bug.) I am also a science fiction nerd.... I met my husband working on a science fiction convention. I am definitely the nerdiest of the nerds. I do read just about everything though. Prior to and after my school librarian position I worked with children and adults with various physical, intellectual, and psychiatric disabilities. I read nonfiction extensively on these topics. I also enjoy history, biography, education, and other nonfiction and fiction topics. I am looking forward to participating in the forums here.
