Hi there. My name is Robert Lucido. I am 68 years old. I wrote this book partly while I was imprisoned. My father was a DEA agent, so drugs were nothing new to me. He always said, "Drugs are bad for you." He began searching my room, which caused me to rebel against his. I got busted. I had to join the Navy. That just made it worse, I found myself dripping in drugs. I got out and began trafficking cocaine and weed. Got busted again, went to prison. Repeat and repeat and repeat 6 times. I wound up doing 33 years in prison for various drug charges and then multiple bank robberies. I was so strung out and didn't have the money for my heroin. Where do you get money? Banks. The autobiography itemizes all the crazy things a dope fiend will do for drugs and the escapades from being on drugs. Finally after almost 50 years of addiction to hard drugs I found sobriety. I got out of prison and enrolled in a drug program. I have been free of hard drugs since September 19, 2019. I now lead a normal life. I stopped having anyone that uses come around me. The book is just a bunch of short stories of a dope fiend and all the crazy, wild things I did. I did things that no normal person would do. I pretty much just kick it now. I grow flowers, smoke pot, and ride my ebike all over the place. I do some gaming on my computer and I love cooking. My hope is that one person that is a dope fiend reads the book and realizes the need to become sober. If the book does that, I was be happy, because that was why I wrotethe book. Enjoy!
