Hey there, new guy here

Hi.

I post as xaraan in a lot of places, so it's an alias, but half the time would probably be known better than my real name if someone came across me. Real name is: Jeremy. (post a couple places as JeremyS or JShane) depends on whether I view where I post as business or personal, for me, this forum I viewed as a personal thing.

Been looking for a good book forum for a bit, so checking this place out. I post at a few other forums, one of them a comicbook forum (the outhouse) where I get to talk about novels a little bit in one big thread we have there. Since I haven't bought comics in a couple years now, I pretty much just chit chat there and don't get the chance to talk about what I mostly read: novels. So here I am.

Uh... I'm a photographer from Virginia Beach, VA. (jeremyshanephotography-dot-com is my baby)
In addition to just reading, I also try my hand at writing on the side for my own amusement. I like all kinds of music, movies, mma, and spending time with friends and family of course. I probably will mention it at some point casually, so I'll say I'm divorced (no kids), but I've currently been dating a young lady for almost three years now with two kids of her own (10 and 12). She and both the kids, especially the oldest, are avid readers as well.
