Hi,
I'm glad I found this place. I plan to do a lot of reading now that I just invested in a Sony PRS-900. I've only had it for a week and have never own an ebook reader before so I'll hold my thoughts on it until this weekend!

Thanks for the welcome. You sound just like me. I had a reason for getting one of these babies and that was PRIVACY

I'll explain later!

And of course living in NY, I have access to 2 of the biggest ebook libraries, Brooklyn & NYPL. I'm germ phobic and rarely check out library books and ebooks solved that problem. I read a lot and it can add up and I spend a lot of time taking my kids to dance lessons, sport practice, etc. I seem to be always waiting. This initial investment will actually save me quite a bit of money since I spend an average of $60 a month in books.

Welcome to the forum
Looking forward to your assessment of your Sony Reader ... I still can't make up my mind whether to invest or not. I do love the feel of a book but I can see the advantages of the Reader too.
