Hello everyone
It's been a long time since I've become member of a new forum and had to do this introduction thingy, so please bear with me here
My name is Stefan, I am 17 years old (not far from my 18th though) and come from Austria (country of classical music, skiing and with a distinct lack of any kangoroos whatsoever
).
I am in school, my very last year and even though I often don't have time for it, I love reading books. For relaxation, new ideas and just for getting my mind off school and other things.
I used to read german books (Hermann Hesse, Stefan Zweig and some others) only, but after spending a year in England I have become a big fan of English literature as well (especially Terry Pratchett, but also some more serious stuff like George Orwell's novels, Wuthering Heights and some more contemporary stuff, though I still have some classics on my shelf which I am planning to read whenever school permits). I also read Spanish books from time to time, seeing as I'm taking one of my final exams in Spanish.
I am hoping to find a sort of small (in the sense of people knowing each other) community here, where I can discuss books I have recently read and get to know other people's thoughts and views about them.
So much as for me.
So, hello everyone!
Questions welcome
