Always romance, no two stories are alike...well, usually.
Sometimes mystery and often I like to switch it up.

Anything Contemporary really. They're usually relatable and/or can have a little romance.

I love a good thriller, mystery book. But when I'm stressed, a good mm
Romance will do the trick.

I enjoy historical fiction because I like to read about what is real or could have been real. Because I enjoy what's real and raw, I also enjoy memoirs and self-help books that make me feel and want to better myself or count my blessings.

I feel like I go though phases. I went through my teenage vampire drama phase. Currently I am loving my young adult love stories. Soon, I am hoping to jump in and read some of the classics.

I typically grab for Science fiction or fantasy, I've been more into diary/ biography type books as well latley. What got me into reading was actually the Chronicles or Narnia books when I was in the 2nd grade. The idea of an entire new world inside the pages of a book just amazed me!

My go-to genre would be romance. I love to get lost in a good romance and let go of everything for a while. A good romance can pull you in and make you believe in true love.

Murder mystery/suspense and romance with a hint of comedy. I love to laugh and the romantic comedy type novels really do help with alleviating any stress I have. Murder mystery really draws me in and I cannot put the book down. :techie-studyingbrown:

My go-to genre would be Young Adult (even though I'm 19) and Fantasy. The first one because these novels are usually page-turners and they have the magic of youth that is just undescribable. The second one because Fantasy books are mesmerizing, they throw you in words that just strip you away from your reality and once you get in to a fantastical world you can't ever escape.

I have become obsessed with paranormal novels. It's nice to literally escape our reality sometimes, and not read stuff that can so closely relate to our lives. Especially if it's a thriller. I do prefer books that contain romance in them, although it doesn't have to be the overall storyline.

As my screen name implies, I love happy endings! So, most are romance novels. I've read some before that don't end happy and I still enjoy, but I need a quick, light book after to get that yucky feeling out of my system.

I guess you wouldn't call it a genre, but I tend to like books that are bases around a sever struggle. Like someone trying to escape a kidnapper or someone who is homeless that made their way to being a CEO. I guess in a way " fight for your life/future" type books. They can be anything from true stories to fantasy as long it's about someone over coming their struggles

I don't know why but it's always either a classic or dystopian. :techie-studyinggray: :D

My go-to genre would be sci-fi or fantasy. I like that I can louse myself in a fantasy world of outlandish creatures. When energy day life is dull or boring I can always find excitement in these genres.

I like to try new authors so I'm open to suggestions from my reader friends. But there are times when you want to read the kind of book you enjoy the most. I'm an introvert so I like to read books thay revolve around protagonists who are introverts. For example one of my most favourite books is The Perks Of Being A Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky. The protagonist in that novel, Charlie is basically the kind of person I am. I'm intrigued by the mysterious nature of people like that. So that's the kind of genre I enjoy the most.
