I enjoy true stories or based on true stories. & I do enjoy a good thriller too! Maybe that's because I cannot watch movies like that so I rely on books for this topic.

I would say that my go-to books would be contemporary or even non-fiction.

My go to genre is definitely YA Dystopian series. I love the Hunger Games, Divergent, and The Giver. They are my absolute favorite books! I also like YA Romance such as John Green's The Fault in Our Stars and Stephanie Meyer's Twilight series.

My go-to genre has always been fiction, and more specifically mystery/suspense. However, as I get older and have fallen in love with reading again, I have found myself delving into other genres including non-fiction and fantasy. Recently I read the first book in the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. I can say I thoroughly enjoyed the combination of historical fiction and fantasy and I found myself wanting to learn more about that time period to better understand the context of the book. I think reading various types of literature is much more stimulating and has allowed me to be a more well rounded reader.

My go to genre will always be mystery. I love being able to get lost in the world of mystery. I enjoy getting lost in the intensity of the story. I love all the twists and turns that are involved in the story. I can start a book and by the time I finish for the night I have spent hours reading.

I love so many different types of books but when I'm in a reading funk and can't find anything I usually pick up a YA novel. They are fun and exciting and always get me drawn into the story line

Definitely Science fiction or Fantasy. I can't ever put these books down once I pick them up. These are my favorite although I love a little bit of everything.

Romance is my first choice. It could vary from historical romances to contemporary.

It is hard to say what my go-to is. I suppose I would say fantasy. It seems like a fantasy is very likely to be a good read where science fiction can be a little to technical at times or a fiction a little to sappy. That being said, I have loved science fiction, historical fiction, biographies, and all sorts of other genre and have trouble excluding anything for fear that I will miss an amazing story.

I usually go-to historical romance for, well, romance, and relaxation, Children's books for fun, and fantasy, fairy tales or sci-fi for adventure. I also enjoy cookbooks on occasion for nostalgia, recipes, and tips.

I prefer romance with a little bit of mystery and enough suspense to keep my mind centred on the story

I go for a good romance book. I always get lost in the story and feel like I am a part of the book.

The genre that I return to the most is horror/ thriller. I like something that helps to get my blood pumping. I'm not into gore so much as I am the strange or unusual plot line, good characters and suspenseful plot.
