‘Killing Abel’ by Michael Tieman gave an interesting perspective of Adam and Eve's disobedience, the role played by the fallen angel, and simple explanations for the activities that occur in our daily lives as intended by the author. This book gives an insight into what might have happened from the creation of man to the post-diluvian era, as he emphasizes mistakes made by early man while giving a better understanding of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit and still maintaining their mysterious nature. The author highlighted love, guilt, sacrifice, marriage, repentance, and patience that God exercised before the Earth’s destruction.

Killing Abel answered questions I had, such as the reason for Cain’s mercy. This book is embedded with twists, as seen with Eva, who was seeking vengeance for her murdered husband, Abel, and bore children for Cain. The greed and wickedness in the Circle of Nod were not new to me, as they are still evident in the present world. Also, God working with Enoch the Sethite, Methuselah, and Noah, and the completion of the ark passes the message that God works with men who are willing. Cain’s obsession with the tree of knowledge cannot be ignored, as the New Age men have continued to seek answers. The judgment is a picture of life after death, where good and evil will be judged.

This book is a five out of five, as it is well written and relatable, as seen in ‘Altruism Not Found Among Men.’ I will recommend this book for fans of the pre-diluvian with unanswered questions who seek proper explanations, as they will enjoy this book. There were no negatives about this book, as it is well detailed and simple. The author did a great job, and this book will guide readers to sit, reflect, and learn so they do not make the same mistakes as their forefathers.
