Vampires are kind of overdone and all the stories that I've read about vampires, they all tend to have the same kind of powers and abilities.

If you were to read or write a vampire story, what kind of vampire would you want to read/write about?

I want a story about a vampire who is allergic to blood and has to live off of something else. Also it would be call to read about a new type who can only walk during the day because the moonlight is like poison to them.

I love that idea about a vampire who is allergic to blood, it sounds like it could be very interesting! I think it would be funny if vampires didn't need blood to survive, but something like orange juice or lemonade. I'd also like a story where there weren't any humans - everyone would be a vampire and do normal human things, just at night!

Now that sounds like an awesome idea! A story where humans are extinct and there are only vampires in the world and they survive by sucking the juices out of fruit lol. I would read a vampire story like that just because it's something you never heard of before!

What if a vampire could not just drink any kind of blood? You know how when there is a blood transfusion it has to be either the same blood type or the universal blood type? What if vampires had the same limitations?

You should!

It seems like an interesting concept. They can only have certain types of blood. Any other type of blood could be poisonous to them. A vampire falls in love with a guy whose blood isn't compatible with her. Even though he's poison, she still wants to be with him.

It would make a good poem too

A chicken has feathers,

I don't like the vampires feeding on blood. So, I would definitely want to see a vampire who does not feed on blood.

I don't like vampires. The Blade movies series was good, so was Underworld. I think too many creators (authors etc) are trying to recreate stories that have been told already. Even if someone were to write a story about a different breed of vampire it might not attract as much attention beause what are vampires if they don't drink blood and burn in the sun? Its a rite of passage. Rather than trying to create unique vampires I think it's best to just come up with a completely different creature/monster.

Your idea is really interesting and funny. I would like to meet a vampire like that.

So...a reverse vampire in other words? I would still go back to the Cirque du Freak series where vampires are concerned. Sure, they're telepathic but they're also a lot more...primitive and beast-like. I like them better than the glowing-skin types of Twilight.

My new type of vampire would probably need a regular IV transfusion instead of the following the common bite-wrist, bite-neck trope. The use of fangs would maybe then become obsolete too. I'd also pen in to make them less dark-loving and less disdainful to their food source.
