I'm not afraid, but I do respect the sea. The creepiest part is all the animals you can't see. It never bothered me as a kid, but now I get more nervous about entering critter territory. I don't like unidentified creatures nibbling on me or thinking id make a good meal. Also undertow can drown you and take you far out to sea. That's scary too.

I like going to the Sea and I love swimming in the beach too because it makes me relax.

Truth be told, I haven't been to the sea, but I hope I wouldn't have seaphobia of whatever it's called.

Not much.I have not visited any sea sight so I am fond of going there. Sea is a good recreational place but if you are not a good swimmer then you should take precautionary measures to avoid any bad incident.
Make your ideals high enough to inspire you and low enough to encourage you.

I think anyone who isn't a little wary of the sea is foolish; it's dangerous if you don't know what you're doing, and sometimes even if you do. That being said, you'll never see me staying out of it on that account! I do have a few scars from getting caught in the undertow and being scraped across the rocks, but I still say it was worth it.

Well. I'm not afraid of the sea but I definitely wouldn't want to drown in it

I hope you would overcome someday your fear. Going to the Sea and swimming with the salted water is really enjoyable.

I enjoy going to the beach but I have to admit that some scenes from movies can be terrifying. Even if one knows how to swim, one can never know what crazy man-eating creature is out there.

The lie I often tell myself is that I am not afraid of the sea (or lake or ocean), but that I have a healthy respect for it. But, if I'm being honest, yes, I am afraid. I can't swim, a cousin of mine drowned when I was younger, I saw my mom nearly drown twice, and a student of mine drowned. So, yes, I am afraid.

I have pretty mixed feelings, as someone else mentioned. I LOVE the sound of the sea. The waves hitting the beach. I also don't mind being in a boat on the water (though I get a bit seasick at times). What is a challenge for me is going into the water and not knowing what is down there beneath me. So, I guess I a "look, but don't touch" attitude when it comes to the sea.

Once I almost drowned in the sea. A wave took me under and dragged me for dozens of feet. I was under the water so long that I felt I was going to die. But then the sea let me go and I got back to the surface. My back was really scratched up, but other than that, I was safe. Very scary, but I still love the sea and I snorkel from time to time. I hope the sea never takes me again though.

I've had a lot of nightmares about sharks...

But I honestly have a lot of respect for the ocean. It reminds me of God's power and majesty, and how he's someone to fear and respect, as well as admire and love. I want to draw close as much as I'm afraid of being swept away.

Afraid of the sea? Not so much, afraid of not being able to see what is beneath, yes.

I am not afraid of the sea, but I do have a great respect for it. I understand the terrors it can hold and become but I also understand the beauty it holds.
