Who is your favorite character?

My favorite character is Heat. The other characters are great too, but Heat has a level of maturity that is very high for her age. She understands the value of life after she kills her first Order member, and she realizes that life is precious and not to be taken lightly. For a young teen, this is a large concept to grasp so quickly.

My favorite character was Brimstone. He is the underdog and he kind of reminds me of Harry Potter. The backstories were much needed. Without them, I would feel completely lost.

I really like Brimstone. I sometimes did think he came across as a mouthy teenager, but it was just brief moments and before the book was over I realized I really wanted Crimson to rule again.

I liked Brimstone. He kind of reminds me of Harry Potter. I thought it was interesting that Brimstone didn't have any ability to use magic until later in the book but magic was ineffective against him. He tried his best to deal with each trial as it came.
