I certainly think it will make a great movie. The spacecraft abilities are in no way farfetched as already there is technology for small craft to land vertically. This was featured last week in BBC tech section.
I was originally going to say that the craft Agent Sliver uses might be the only out of place thing, but after reading your comment I have to agree that it's not that unrealistic to picture that kind of craft in another 40 years. As for a lot of the other technology, we are very close to having a lot of that stuff now, so I don't think there would be any issue making it look realistic in a movie format.
With CGI these days, they can make a T-Rex eat the Chrome Wind with a volcano erupting in the background and make it look real. But how great would it be to actually have them build it in real life to film in the movie?
It would be pretty awesome to see a real life Chrome Wind! As for CGI, it's hit and miss with me. Sometimes I watch movies and think it's incredible that they could make something so obviously fake look so real, and then other times I think it looks like garbage. I guess it really depends on who is doing the CGI work.

I think this could be a nice movie to watch as long as the film adaptation stays true to the book.

This will definitely make a great movie - a blockbuster actually provided there's a great scriptwriter and an excellent director.

This is definitely movie material. I can visualize it being made into a blockbuster with all the action and Hi-Tech details.

I think it would be a Great Movie only if all the Details that's in the Book stay the same as it is in the Movie .

Yes, I think this book would make a great movie. I think the history of how it came to be might be done a little differently but the plot of the book is great.

Futuristic sci fic always make amazing movies. A secret agent, his airship, an interactive computer, lady whom he rescues from his own crime scene (probable love interest), would definitely make a blockbuster movie.

With everything that happens in this book I do believe that this book would make a good movie. I don't think that I have ever actually come across a movie that shows the way the government could be in this light.

I think this story would make a great movie! The fact that the plot is a real possibility for our future will catch a lot of attention.

Mind you, I've only sampled the book but, from that, I suspect it may make an even better movie. When I was reading it, my imaginings certainly reminded me of a sci-fi action film. I can't say that about all books (mostly because they're often not descriptive enough).

abigailray1013 wrote: 02 Aug 2018, 09:11 At this point, anything could be made into a good movie. While it sounds like there could be many movies out there very similar, I think it would be a thrilling and action-packed film!
And just abut everything is made into a movie. I am having trouble finding movies that are not based on books. Some books are starting to seem to me like the authors are writing with the intent of a movie adaptation in the future. I see this as one of those types of books.

I support this. The book can be adopted into a movie. It will be very intriguing and who knows whether it will not feature as well. The only negative side is that there might be many movies that may be featuring something close to this subject.

This was my view too. I am in support of this. The movie will be better than the book itself, probably.

I definitely think this could be made into a movie! People are always curious about technology as well as views on what the future holds. Just like the book, the movie would spark some controversial discussions! :-)
