Initially, the cover made me want to read the book more just because it is an eye-catching image. However, the more I thought about it the more I thought that the cover (and the character of Ghost Face himself) is perhaps trying to cash in on the Scream franchise’s popularity. I’m half-way through the book and I do like the story, but maybe a different cover image would have given the book its own identity.

The cover definitely made me not want to read the book. I’m not into horror books or films and after reading the sample knew it wasn’t a good fit for me.

The 'Ghost Face' cover of the book actually looked scary to me and made me think that it would be a horror story. I do not want to read scary or horror books.

They tell you not to judge a book by its cover but to me a cover can either draw in my interest or make me hesitant. I tell you that if I had the physical copy in my hands I would be glad to read it.

Sounds interesting that for some the cover increased the desire to read the book while for others it made them not want to read it. The good thing is to give the book a try since we are advised also never to judge a book by its cover. This literally applies to this book.
I think for those whose desire to read was increased are fans of horror novels. Even though a book shouldn't be judged by its cover, it creates the 1st impression.

Personally, the cover instantly made me decide not to read the book. To be fair, though, the genre is not my cup of tea.

As someone who is not a fan of horror, the cover rightly turned me away from this book.

just like horrific movies l like the way character is solicited by an actor to bring real sense of event in underline nature of human being it is quick captivating to see how actor plays with mind of reader

The 'Ghost Face' is able to catch the attention of many and no one can stop the very many questions that begin to flood one's mind in an effort to understand the reason as to why the author resolved to this.

I think this is what will count eventually in a world that is characterized by edge-cutting competition. If you do not stand out by doing something differently, you may lose it.

I'm not a big fan of the "Scream" franchise, so the use of a similar image on the cover did not appeal to me. As much as we aren't supposed to judge a book by its cover, we do. I was still willing to read a few pages to see if I could get into it, but probably would not have done that had it not been featured.
