I think this book is for intellectual readers who have began to be awakened spiritually. Otherwise, one may not understand the idea therein as it would be vague to their understanding. Well, what I liked most was Richard's encounter with Jesus Christ and Isness. Nothing changes a man as an encounter with The Eternal One. What I like least is Richard's negligence in mentioning Tim in his acknowledgement, considering how influential Tim was in Richard's life journey. Of course, I would recommend this book this book. I'd like others to have this inspirience and spiritual enlightenment.gali wrote: ↑01 Mar 2019, 00:25 This is a discussion topic for the March 2019 Book of the Month, The Unbound Soul: A Visionary Guide to Spiritual Transformation and Enlightenment by Richard L. Religion is a difficult subject to discuss, simply because there are so many, with its own beliefs and dos and don'ts. I personally do not believe in Religion and avoid discussing it but I however, do believe there is a God.
The Unbound Soul by Richard L.Haight is a well written book about his personal experience and promise to God. It connected with me and I enjoyed reading this book.

This was a guy who started out in life with having learning difficulties. He seemed friendship with different charatics then his own.
He found many mentors along the way to help him on his spiritual journey.
I often with I could find mentors along my life to help me understand a lot of things.
I did learn a few from this book, but still a lot of unanswered questions lurk around in my head.

This is true though in a way it will depend on whether believes in this or not. For me, I was able to read it just like any other book without developing too much attachments to these parts. The good thing is that the reader is cautioned now and then by the author.kdstrack wrote: ↑06 Mar 2019, 12:56 I found the book to be well written with few spelling and grammar errors. Some of the content, though, was disturbing. The author describes how some of his practices open up a person to demon spirits. I felt this chapter should have contained a warning to readers to consider the consequences of his suggested practices before beginning to participate in such activities. He was able to determine what was happening and knew how to respond to the situation. Other readers might be too frightened or confused to know how to respond to the presence of evil spirits. I would not recommend this book to others.

I would most definitely and heartily recommend the book as long as you are able to take in teachings from across the major world religions. The book is quite easy to read and comprehend unlike several others in the same genre.onemorechap wrote: ↑11 Mar 2019, 05:52 Self help books aren't my thing that's why I am hesitant to read this. However I saw many of you saying it had a humourous approach that made it unique? So, would you recommend it to me, that I am not used to this genre, as a way to get into it? I never know how to start getting to know this book type
