ARA Review by shahzebsaifi of Two Moons of Merth

The ARA Review Exchange is a system in which authors review other authors' books, generlaly in exchange for getting their own book reviews by other authors. However, the person who reviews a author's book is not the same person whose book that author reviewed. This way, author reviews do not influence each other, such as by an author being inclined to reward a good review by deliving one in return or deliver a negative review as revenge.

Two Moons of Merth by Ruth C. Mitchell is an epic fantasy novel that tells the story of the Karda family. The narrative is rich with themes of joy, tragedy, and feminine power.

The hero, Aadya, not set in stone and clever person who generally endeavors to accommodate her loved ones. Despite food not being her top priority, she always brings it home as a need. One day, while out hunting, she hears leaves rustling along the path and raises her bow in defense. To her surprise, she discovers that it is her friend Poma, who belongs to the same tribe as the Karda family.

After his admission, Aadya’s perception of him suddenly shifts from a person who was a bit of a bungler to a taller, more enthusiastic, and more interesting individual. But to her astonishment, Poma has another secret she isn’t aware of. This revelation profoundly impacts Aadya but encourages her to pursue her goals with hope and ambition.

Ruth C. Mitchell’s storytelling is exceptional and insightful, as well as her character development. She represents the struggles female leaders undergo to become equal to their male counterparts. Aadya’s role is a powerful reminder of the challenges women encounter when advocating for leadership positions.

This novel delves into “Kinetic Sight,” presenting it as more than intuition. The relationship between Aadya and Poma evolves from an awkward encounter to a romantic journey in which they become one. Love can solve some problems, but the storyline questions much more than its role in creating long-lasting bonds.

Two Moons of Merth covers all the dynamics revolving around established monarchies. With all the suspense and drama, readers can expect more than just a simple love story.

I'd rate "Two Moons of Merth: A Mythic Tale of the Royal Karda Family" by Ruth C. Mitchell a solid 4 out of 5 stars.

The rating of 4 out of 5 stars mirrors the book's assets in vivid world-building, convincing characters, and a charming plot. Regardless of a few pacing issues and excessively complex legislative issues, the general nature of the narrating and the enthralling idea of the dreamland make it an exceptionally pleasant read meriting areas of strength.
