ARA Review by Nilay Thakore of In It Together

The ARA Review Exchange is a system in which authors review other authors' books, generlaly in exchange for getting their own book reviews by other authors. However, the person who reviews a author's book is not the same person whose book that author reviewed. This way, author reviews do not influence each other, such as by an author being inclined to reward a good review by deliving one in return or deliver a negative review as revenge.

The book In It Together: The Beautiful Struggle Uniting Us All by Eckhart Aurelius Hughes is a thought-provoking and deeply emotional examination of human interconnectedness and communal endurance. As a shining light in the dark, this book instills hope and drives one towards action, essentially promoting the beautiful struggle that ties us all together.

In his book, Hughes combines personal stories with examples from history and current events showing how our difficulties can bind us. He has used both poetic language and simple wording to help develop ideas that are difficult to understand.

One outstanding feature of the book is how it touches on empathy and understanding. According to Hughes, consideration of commonalities often experienced within diverse moments should be encouraged in order to achieve love of others as ourselves. They are insightful concepts worthy of reflection; encouraging readers’ attention for more than their individual encounters.

The structure of the book is good in which every chapter discusses different dimensions about human connection and resilience. Hughes’s narrative style is gripping since he captures the reader’s interest right from page one. The passion he has for his topic is clear in his work; it is infectious too.

Also, “In It Together” goes beyond just being a book but a way of life. It presents practical suggestions and steps that can be taken to create stronger communities where people assist each other out.
