A Delightful Fantasy Adventure with Substance

Jan Anderegg's Julu is a delightful story that combines fantasy, adventure, and coming-of-age themes into a thrilling read. As the first book in The Julu Series, the novel introduces the reader to a richly detailed world where destiny, courage, and friendship take center stage.

Plot & Themes

The book is centered on Julu, an unusual heroine who ends up in the midst of war between light and darkness. Based on rich world-building and in-depth storytelling, Anderegg brings a universe together where forces beyond nature, deep secrets from antiquity, and individual empowerment occur naturally alongside one another.
