Who is the best Villain in the story?

My vote goes to Victor Valorian. I know most people say the fate sealers but everyone knew the fate sealers were dangerous from the get go. Victor Valorian's character was genius. He really seemed to be this suave, cool, genuinely helpful guy right till the end. I think the fact that he had most everyone fooled shows that he was the ultimate antagonist.

He was the kind of Villain who thrived in the Shadows, who would be next to you when you both get attacked despite being the plotter.

This story had a lot of great, well-developed villains. If I had to say who my favorite villain was, though, I think it would be the False King. His sudden attack on Will and Peter at the end of the book, when the author has lulled the reader into thinking everything is fine, was such a great scene. His personality was so forceful and larger than life, and his distinct accent just added to his whole aura. For a character that is spoken about often throughout the book but is only “on screen” for a short amount of time, I think the author did a great job of making him memorable.

I agree that the name Fate Sealers does invoke dread a little bit, but they are open in their motives unlike Victor Valorian and the False King.

While the Fate Sealers were awful creatures, I would have to say that Victor Valerian is the best antagonist. He was behind the killing of the king and tried to manipulate his way to the top. With the Fate Sealers, you know they are evil and you know their intentions. With Victor Valerian, you didn't know the full scope of his evil plan until the end.
