I haven't gotten through the whole book yet, but so far the story is quite interesting. I like that the book follows Johnny (the captive) and Jamie and Jacko as they try to figure out what happened to Johnny. There are a number of terms that I had to look up, but it didn't effect my overall reading experience.

I am just getting started with the book but was intrigued right away from the first chapter. I will follow-up with more thoughts as I go! :techie-studyinggray:

Jamie and Jacko are on a mission to rescue kidnapped Colonel Johnny Cook of MI6 in the Malayan jungle. They set out into the deep jungle to rescue the Colonel with the help of Sarah, Jacko's sister, and a skilled tracker. I enjoyed this suspense-filled thriller. 4 out of 4 for me.

Every part of this series had been BOTM once. So there's no doubt that this is also worth appreciation. I personally loved the whole series. This book also deserves 4 out of 4 stars. Congratulations on #botm.

I have just started it. The portion of it that I have read already deserves to be in botm. I'm excited to finish the book.

I've started the sample pages. While I'm not typically interested in historical novels, this is actually really fun and interesting. I plan to continue! Which says something

The book started out interestingly, with the kidnapping of the British guy, in Maylasia? to help with the war aftermath.

The book is not your everyday war book - pretty genius of the author. An intriguing historical fiction. 4 out of 4 stars for me.

I really enjoyes this standalone story and found it riddled with just the right amount of action, adventure, suspense, and espionage for me. I enjoyed the many seemingly unrelated antagonistic events throughout the story and how they were connected. The thing I liked least about the story was keeping track of all the organisations mentioned in the story and their initials. I rated the book 4 out of 4 stars and would definitely recommend it to historical fiction fans.

A perfect sequel to the second book! I have loved Jamie and Jacko from the first and second book, and I think this has made me like them as well. The thrill of the chase is enough to keep me wanting more. 4 out of 4 rating for this captivating adventure!

Having read the earlier books, I will definately enjoy this one. I looking forward to meeting the original characters one more time in between the pages.

As far as I remember, Skills of the Warramunga is my least liked of the Trilogy. Sarah is almost a non-existent character. It's so sad because she is so cute and charismatic. The storyline is good, but not great. Don't get me wrong: it's a good book. But not as good as the first two, IMHO.
