This book has had its fair share of surprises. From Adam's origin to Vikky's origin and to name a few shocking ones is the subtle line in the last chapter that Adam's mother has joined the Iksha, really kept the story alive. Just when were are not expecting it, the author drops bombshells on us.

What shocked you the most?

Overall thoughts on these twists and turns?

I liked the Vikki twist. I wish it had been more focused on. If Adam had not disliked her, she could have been the focus of a love triangle and the add on of Kane for sexual tension or the incestuous overtures would have been unnecessary.

I, too liked vikki's turn best..totally caught me off guard.

I think Alexandra being a part of the Iksha and Dylan also being a part of the Iksha really surprised me.

Vikki wasn’t a huge surprise-she was a twist for sure, but Carly has known something was off about her from the beginning and had seen her as a threat.

Adam’s origin was shocking too, just not as shocking as his mother and brother being with the enemy.

Vikki’s dad and Adam’s dad were brothers so Vikki and Adam were cousins. A love triangle with the two of them involved would have been just as weird his love for his mom I did like the Vikki twist though.

Same! Also, the fact that Adam was adopted, a twin, and his mother is part of the Iksha! So many surprises! Oh and that Adam's father was killed my Dauma!

Adam's origin was a major twist for me. I never expected that he was adopted and had a twin.

I did think that Vicki being an adult was an interesting twist.

Yes his twin warning was a real bombshell....

For a twist & turns to capture my attention drama needed to last more than one or two pages. Otherwise, I am not truly invested.

I think I'm biased because I'm the mother of twins, but I was delighted with the twist that Adam was a twin. The being adopted part was just an aside to me.

Adam having a twin surprised me the most. I didn’t see that coming. I could somewhat guess the other twists, but this one was really a shock.

I actually felt the Vikki twist coming to an extent. The more Adam and Carly just knew for some reason they couldnt trust her I figured she was involved. I thought she would be a descendant working for Iksha though, so her age and who her father was did really surprise me.

They did really put a spotlight on her... It could have been a bit more subtle in my opinion, instead of her just brazenly obsessed with Adam.

That's one of the biggest issues I had too!
"So-and-so was really inappropriate and I am outraged!!!! But I guess I should be more understanding... Ok, he's forgiven and I hope he can forgive me for being upset!"
