I'd probably read this book anyway for professional reasons but, thanks to this review pointing out significant management challenges, I now must read it. Plus, there's the bonus of learning of a related book.

I would have passed by this book in an instant. It would have been a big mistake. So thanks for the informative review. I love how the new CEO masquerades as a low class client. I wonder what other tricks he has for reviving the bank. I congratulate the author for the BOTD.

Thanks for your review. Despite being fiction, this book sounds realistic, as it seems to provide some meaningful lessons to businessmen. Company owners can be able to learn some good managing experience from this story. Jay looks like someone who can bring a change to Regional Bank.

My field! This is a relaxing and casual way to be introduced to business. Books like this teach one or two things about business. Good review!

This book derives lessons from a nearly collapsing business that would be useful to any leader or businessperson. Jay is already an interesting person to read about.

This sounds rather interesting. I've never read a management book written in a fictional manner, and dare I say I believe it'd be easier to grasp its contents more due to this unique style. I wonder how the atmosphere in the office would have been as at the time Jay brought up his suggestions. And of course, I can't wait to see how Jay handles the expected stumbling block. Thanks for the review.

I love fictional stories that give valuable lessons in specific fields. As the book focuses on professionalism and leadership, it would be great for professionals in leadership positions in different organizations.

The book seems interesting. Telling people how to lead seems a good self-help topic. It is really one of the most sought after things and everyone seeks to learn and inculcate this value in themselves. This book seems great for it. Great review!

"The Consummate Communicator" by Amy S. Hamilton is a fictional story about a struggling Regional Bank, led by Jay Admiral. Despite facing resistance from senior management, Jay creates a new management advisory board. The book emphasizes the importance of clear mission statements, goals, and employee input in achieving change.
