Josephine, who had been married for years with children, giving a good part of her life to her family and ensuring things were in order, is eventually shocked when her husband returns one fateful night very happy. Ray starts to pack his things, and when asked by JoJo, says he’s starting the third phase of his life. Ray leaves without JoJo knowing where he is going. JoJo has to keep moving, not knowing whether he is going to return. To find out what becomes of the family, if JoJo hopes for his return, and if Ray eventually returns to the family he left abruptly, read about those and more on JoJo's life even before then by diving into "How JoJo Got Her Mojo Back" by Cynthia A. King.

I enjoyed how dramatic the book was. The way JoJo recounted issues with her husband, her conversations and explanations with her children, and the author's exploration of the thoughts of different characters, like Abbey towards the beginning of the book, were all well done. Sometimes the scenes were humorous, and the tension was palpable. This was especially evident when the children became aware of the situation and in other parts of the book. These elements kept me glued to the story.

The elaborate stories of JoJo's childhood and relationships gave greater insight into her life. The depiction of motherly love and pure intentions was palpable. I loved reading those sections. The raw emotions felt and expressed by the characters were understandable, including times of anger, sorrow, and loneliness. This made the book seem very original, and I appreciated it. The author effectively conveyed emotions to the readers.

I did not find any errors as I read. The raw emotions expressed by the characters made the book seem more genuine. I did not find anything to dislike. It was properly written, and I would rate it 5 out of 5.

This book is highly recommended for readers who enjoy dramatic family stories, emotional journeys, and character-driven narratives. It's perfect for anyone who appreciates a well-crafted tale of personal growth and resilience.
