Adem Besim wrote the book "Perceive." The story follows four young people's childhood, upbringing, realizations, repercussions, and fresh beginnings.

Bryan, struggling to get attention from his father, David, and humiliated by his stepmother and half-brother, longs for his mother's company. All this made him feel alone and abandoned. Next is Justin, a fortunate youngster with established, loving, and attentive parents who provide him with all he needs. Despite being grateful for everything, he takes his gifts for granted and is a spoiled person in a destructive mode. Emma, a lovely but struggling girl, is trying hard to fit in. Emma consistently strives to modernize her appearance and cultivate social connections, yet she struggles to muster the courage to embrace herself as the best. Elisha, Justin's girlfriend, excels in many areas and receives admiration from others, yet her community neglects her. This section illustrates the individuals' diverse upbringings, lives, and aspirations, highlighting how one yearns for love while another rejects both love and life. The author gave each of the four individuals distinctive personalities and circumstances.

Each character changes during the novel, becoming self-aware and enjoying the fruits of their deeds. As his living circumstances deteriorated, Bryan began to yearn for his mother's love, while his father, David, realized the extent of his child's suffering due to his wife's neglect. Justin faced chastisement from his parents and criticism from his friends for his attitude. Emma is discovering her strengths rather than seeking happiness elsewhere. Elisha realizes that her parents, who don't care about her, and her friends, who only worry about her position, are eroding her freedom. This segment of the novel is full of raw emotions, making me ponder how people temporarily empower desire, arrogance, and stupidity.

Karmen, Bryan's stepmother, and Marcus, Justin's father, were involved in adultery in another plot. Even if they justified it with other feelings, their story was selfish and showcased a low form of human nature. I don't like adultery tales, but this one incorporates the main characters' parents and shows the repercussions of making the wrong choice, picking the wrong partner, and giving in to temptation.

The purpose of this narrative was to evoke David's past infidelity toward Bryan's mother, as well as his journey of self-realization about the potential harm adultery can cause to a partner and family. The author skillfully narrates the consequences of David's past actions, as well as Karmen and Marcus' choices. The author skillfully crafted the ending, demonstrating how some individuals found happiness, others succumbed to their fate, some remained oblivious to their mistakes, and some ultimately transformed into their own unique identities. The finale was unexpected yet genuine and emotional.

I rate this book 4 out of 5. The book's strengths are its seamless transitions between people's tales. Bryan had a compelling plot, intriguing writing, and an unexpected but satisfying ending. I found it challenging because Justin's story was monotonous, while Emma's narrative repeated the same emotions over and over. Other than these faults, I liked the book. The editing team produced an error-free, enjoyable book. Adultery is a major theme in this work, which may trigger some readers. Please keep this in mind when reading, and I will still recommend this book because it sheds light on repercussions, realization routes, and karma.

I like the concept of a story being told by different characters; adultery isn't a trigger for me. Unfortunately, it's quite commonplace in society. This books sounds interesting, I'll add it to my list.

Actually book is so good with 4 different young people life getting unfolded in unexpected form along with their parents story. Some people will have reservations with theme of violence, adultery, triangle stories. yaa, it's common but still it creates unsettling emotions. Please do read this book whenever you get opportunity.

The book concentrating on several stories at a time without any overlap and delivering good plot lines with good narration makes book enjoyable. GOOD review.
