The title of the book is captivating. It seems like horror. I also like the fact that the author did not try to exaggerate scenes. Thanks for a honest review.

“The Reckoning of Wolves” by Judy Higgins is a gripping mystery novel that follows Dr. Lawson's unsettling journey to Saudi Arabia. Seeking escape from heartbreak, he faces challenges that test his beliefs in human rights and freedom. The book’s well-blended themes and suspenseful narrative earn it a 5-star rating. Thank you for this amazing review!

In "A Reckoning of Wolves," Judy Higgins delivers a compelling, moving novel set in the Deep South, weaving a tale of family saga and mystery The story follows Georgia Lee Maxwell, her childhood home at Alabama after his father is involved in a tragic accident It returns. As Georgia delves into the murky details surrounding her father’s death, she uncovers a dark family secret and encounters shadows of her past. Higgins deftly captures the tension between modern life and southern tradition, capturing the essence of suburban dynamics and the complexity of human relationships His vivid prose and nuanced characters bring the story to life alive, and draws readers in with its mixture of suspense, drama and self-examination. "A Reckoning of Wolves" is a challenging read that explores themes of honesty, betrayal and the search for truth, making it a fascinating addition to Southern literature

“A Reckoning of Wolves” by Judy Higgins is a mystery novel that will keep readers on the edge of their seats. The story begins with Dr. Lawson on a trip to Saudi Arabia for four weeks at the request of Princess Safiyyah. Dr. Lawson felt that this trip would help him forget about Sandra, his finance who told him she did not want to be a doctor’s wife and move on with his life. Being an American, Dr. Lawson was used to people having human rights and freedom of expression. Saudi Arabia does not allow people living in or visiting their country the same rights that people have in America. His arrival in Riyadh did not start well when customs questioned him reading a book about the crown prince. The author drops clues throughout the story that culminate at the end with the mystery being solved. One needs to read the book to learn about what Dr Lawson experienced during his stay in Saudi Arabia.
