Just like the comments of the others, I thought it was a non-fiction book at first. It is a peculiar way, if not a much more effective way of getting the lessons across. The whole story is an example. Wow! Change is something difficult to accept because it challenges security and stability. It would be great to take a detailed look at how it was successfully disseminated. I am wondering if company staff directly interacting with customers should also read the book. They should be alert, conscious, and be on their toes. Other top executives might follow the example. Nice review!

I'm a scrabble fanatic, so the cover caught my interest. I thought the book was about a good vocabulary. The story of Jay was a pleasant surprise. I hope Regional Bank was able to change its set ways and reverse its losses. Good customer service is the way to go in any business.

Thank you for doing this review. It gives me a clear explanation of this book. I like how in this book how as the new CEO Jay used his experience as a customer to help start cleaning and root out old ways. While trying to get his new staff to accept the impending changes that will hopefully help save the bank from failing. But, the most impressive point in your review was the fact that he looked to the company's younger employees, to help bring about some new and refreshing ideas that he will use to help the company grow and come back to be stronger and appealing to his employees and customers. Thank you again for this thorough review.

The Consummate Communicator by Amy S Hamilton has a very unique topic that is how Banks behave with their customers. It's a great book because it enlightened a very important topic. Thanks for the free copy.

Based on the sample, Jay seems to be a leader that is not scared of changing things for the better. While it is a fictional book, he seems to be a very real person. I think that CEOs could also benefit from reading this book, as the concepts so far are promising. Congrats to the author on BOTD! :)

It's interesting that the author chose to write this book in a fictional manner to lass his points across. This must be a helpful read.

Surprisingly (considering the topic) it only took me the first few pages to be hooked. I look forward to reading this story a lot! (Hence the “hooked” part)
I really enjoyed the review as well! Nice job!

Oerganizational development is something most leaders don't consider as important. When a leader takes into consideration that the person is as important as the institution and it's the later that will outlive the former, then integrity of institutions will be central in developing economies. Its a good thing the author depicts this in a fictional story. Congrats.

I was enjoying the story in the sample pages just before coming here to see your review. I found the pages to be very interesting and I knew I wanted to finish one day. But after reading your review, I’ll try to finish the book very soon.
Great job!!!

Interesting approach to use an entire book with a fictional story to get a message across. This is quite common as a tool when a one-pager needs to be discussed during teambuilding, but not an entire book. You made me curious to read this.

This book is more like a practical exploration of assessing and solving business problems; especially the issue of low returns on investment. This is an interesting topic! Congratulations on Book of the day!

This sounds truly fascinating and enlightening as well. It is good to recognize that the changes needed did not require a penny and though change was difficult, things finally improved. Thanks for the review.
