Recently divorced Adrain goes to Japan to return a samurai’s sword. Strangely enough, he encounters a ghost named Emiko, who teaches him about Japanese culture and makes him understand Japanese people. Readers who enjoy reading supernatural fiction will enjoy reading this book.

I have only come across a few books, or even movies, that talk about ghosts in the Asian continent. It would be interesting to learn about Adrian's relationship with Emiko. I'd learn alot about fostering relationships. This book deserves the book of the day title.

Adrain Green chose a unique destination, indeed, and the mission he decided to undertake, returning the sword, was a unique one as well. I am glad that fans of fantasy books will enjoy reading this book that reconciles the physical and supernatural realms. The lesson on forgiveness to move order is very critical. I have added the book to my shelf.
Many thanks for the review. :tiphat: :tiphat: :tiphat:

The book 'The Ghost With Two Hearts' features the supernatural reality that exists both in the physical and spiritual realm. From the fact that Adrian’s relationship with the ghost of Emiko; it passed the message that peaceful coexistence inspired by mutual respect for differences in cultures is achievable. The author also navigates the unfamiliar terrain, he becomes entwined with the spirit of a samurai warrior named Daiki, whose own unfinished business in the realm of the living mirrors Chuck's emotional turmoil. The author concludes the title of this book by revealing the reader about the Japanese culture .

“Ghost with Two Hearts” by Michael R. French is a fictional story. The main character is Adrain Green, a software engineer that is 30-years-old and a recent divorcee, who decides to take a break to rejuvenate himself by going to Japan. His grandfather had taken a samurai sword, a Katana, off a Japanese soldier during WWII and Adrain decided to return it since it is a valuable relic over 250 years old that would be cherished by the soldier’s family. The sample ended after Adrian had a phone call with his best friend and colleague Josh. One needs to read the book to learn if Adrian finds the descendants of the Japanese soldier that had owned the katana, how he interacts with Emiko, the female Kami or spirit that was in the home Adrain agreed to lease in Kyoto and if he accomplishes his goal of rejuvenation.

"Ghost With Two Hearts" unravels the delicate threads of loneliness, resilience, and unexpected connections.
Life is a play where we are the actors and the audience, We laugh and cry, love and hate, create and destroy,
We seek to know ourselves and others, to belong and to be free, We accept what we can and change what we must.

This sounds like such an interesting read. These kind of books always intrigued me and to add that it teaches you lessons like forgiveness and not to change the imperfections in certain things adds to its credibility. Congrats on BOTD.

Interesting concept and inspiring story! Starting with the point that begins this quest, an honorable pursuit to return treasure to its lawful owner, and following a journey to discover your true self - everything sounds quite appealing, especially with the added benefits of supernatural elements and foreign culture. Congratulations on well deserved BOTD!

Technology meets paranormal activity in this novel where an engineer travels to Japan’s and has an encounter with a ghost. Sounds like a riveting read, and I love that there is the perfect blend of physical and spiritual in the book, thanks for highlighting that in your review!

Adrian Green, a software engineer and recent divorcee about to turn thirty, opts for a trip to Japan. He decided to use the opportunity of his visit to Japan to return a samurai sword his grandfather had taken from a Japanese soldier. His peaceful getaway was subsequently interrupted by lonely Kami, a ghost who lived in his rented space. With Michael R. French’s detailed descriptions, learning a few things about Japan was really easy. Ghost With Two Hearts has a lot to teach about the culture and people of Japan. One of the standout lessons from this book that resonated with me was the idea that certain imperfect things or situations are better left the way they are than wanting to find out the perils attached to trying to make them perfect. The importance of forgiveness in order to move forward was another lesson the reviewer picked from the character of Emiko. Readers with a special interest in books about happenings in the supernatural realm and how they can blend with the physical realm should grab a copy of this book.

Learning about Japan while reading fiction should be fun. Also, the reviewer seems to learn other important things too.
