I love your observation about this book. Just by the sample it feels like a deeply immersive and thought-provoking read. It sounds like a deeply meaningful and engaging story with a very profound storyline. I'm excited to add this story to my shelf and pick it up later for reading. Thank you for your thoughts on the story.

The Conflagration" by B. Sabonis-Chafee, a book that features ethic, values, and compassion. It will be enthralling to find out how the people were able to rebuild after WWII. This is a book to be read.

"The Conflagration" by B. Sabonis-Chafee follows Sydney, a cryonically preserved woman revived 300 years after World War III. As she navigates a rebuilt, value-driven society, she struggles to adapt, questioning ethics, compassion, and humanity’s evolution in a changed world. Sounds like a good read. Congrats on being BOTD!

I think most people expect the Earth to be destroyed, whether they believe it will be God or humanity itself facilitating the destruction. A third World War is not inconceivable, with many conflicts raging at present. I like that the theme of the book revolves around values, compassion, and ethics. I can also imagine that survivors will focus on preventing another destruction and a more value-based, compassionate, and ethical system is not inconceivable. It must be disconcerting to wake up many years into the future and find nothing the same as you remember. It looks like an interesting story, thank you for your review.

This narrative offers several strong characters and highlights pertinent concerns regarding the role of well-meaning humans in the sustenance of life on the planet. The premise of a cryogenically preserved woman waking up makes the story relatable as such research is ongoing. Thank you for your great review.

A well-structured review touching all the elements of the story, and points surrounding the character development. Science Fiction is not of interest to me. However, my mind is always open to appreciating the author's imagination. Even with imagination a bit difficult to surpass Star Wars with a 300-year-old frozen woman waking in this century. I now have it in my library and will give it a read. Thank you.

Congrats on BOTD!
Based in a dystopian future reconstructed on ethics and compassion, "The Conflagration" is a fascinating science fiction book. It centers on Sydney, a cryonically preserved lady who is brought back to life 300 years after World War III and must make her way through a drastically altered society.

Nice review! I am not a fan of sci-fi books, but this one seems interesting. I am anxious to see how they revive Ice-girl and how she reacts to her new environment. Another book I'll have to read.

One can find a blend of science fiction elements and post acocalyptics events in the science fiction book "The Conflagration" by B. Sabonis-Chafee. The tale is about the resuscitation of a cryonically-preserved woman 300 years after the conflagration era.

The book sounds interesting with the plot that is thought-provoking with its ethics and way of life. Being revitalized after 300+ years and having to face that completely changed world is really a challenge. It will be interesting to read and find out whether Sydney Thrasher adapts to this new world. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!
