From a sampling, this seems like an interesting story following the students of Dr. Baldr Johannsen as they must investigate the connection between Sol-ace and Aurora Borealis, an evil organization set on stealing an artificial intelligence known as RUDI. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

Congrats on BOTD!
The intriguing plot of Harleen & Andrew's The Dark Side of Food follows millionaire Dr. Baldr Johannsen and five students as they solve the riddle of Aurora Borealis and a malevolent organization. Real-world problems like addiction, the influence of social media, and unhealthy diets are clearly addressed in this comic book.

The novel sounds captivating and thought-provoking, blending everyday struggles with a compelling sci-fi narrative. The natural incorporation of relevant societal issues, combined with educational resources and comic strip-style dialogue, enhances its appeal. I'm adding it to my must read books. Congrats on being BOTD!

Your review is very informative, Christell. I sampled a few pages introducing Billionaire Johanssen, and it looked interesting to see how today's business world realities are portrayed in this book. I have yet to read about Aurora Borealis, but it feels like an immersive read.

I rarely go for sci-fi novels, but as someone who has struggled with an eating disorder, I know how much influence the internet and social media can have in us making illogical and potentially harmful decisions about food and our bodies, so I'm glad the author is committed with raising awareness about it. Thank you for your review!

A good comic book "The Dark Side of Food" by Harleen and Andrew, which tells the story of a billionaire who investigates Aurora Borealis and discovers something quite peculiar about it.

Thought it was about food by the title but it is based on encounter daily situations such as blindly following influencers on social media platforms, potentially harmful diet products, obesity, addiction, and addiction-induced violence. Furthermore, the authors provide a great deal of material at the end of the book to assist the reader in leading a healthier life and educate them on the various systems in the human body.

About hundred years ago, obesity was almost negligible in the USA. However, today, it is impossible to spend an entire day outside, roaming around in the streets of the USA, and see no obese person. What caused this? Congratulations on the BOTD, and best wishes for future projects.

Are there direct connections among social media, AI, diet products, obesity, addiction, and violence? Is there a such thing as a benevolant billionaire? How can we protect ourselves? This comic strip novel will have you reflecting on these questions. There are solutions.

I found it a thoughtful and detailed review! It’s clear that The Dark Side of Food masterfully intertwines timely social issues like addiction, unhealthy diets, and influencer culture into a sci-fi narrative. The mention of the Aurora Borealis and the artificial intelligence, RUDI, hints at a complex and engaging plot that keeps readers hooked. I also appreciate how the comic strip format is easy to follow, even with multiple characters in conversation. Your enthusiasm makes this sound like a must-read for fans of sci-fi and comic novels alike!
