I like the calm tone in the book opening pages I sampled. Larissa's story is also relatable and might be inspirational to many. Congrats to the BOTD author.

Jennifer Collins' "Comfort in the Wings" masterfully combines perceptive character development with heartfelt narrative. Collins skillfully weaves together the lives of her protagonists against the backdrop of a sleepy coastal town in a story that is both engrossing and calming like the tide. The book transports readers to a world where emotions are vividly depicted and problems are handled with grace and authenticity as it examines themes of resiliency, healing, and the importance of human connection.

Collins writes in a poetic and evocative style that readily draws readers into the vivid situations at the center of her stories. Each of the well-developed characters has a unique voice and set of challenges, which helps to make them interesting and relevant.

Thank you for highlighting the mood and themes of the book in this review. This is not light reading, but might be a book for those who want to empathize with a deep range of emotions and understand grief.

Part of the award-winning "Love That Does Not Die" trilogy, the story follows Larissa as she navigates the challenging journey from barely surviving to thriving after a significant loss. The narrative is praised for its smooth, relatable, and easy-flowing storyline, particularly resonating with those who have experienced similar losses.

I totally agree with the reviewer that it is difficult to get over the death of a loved one, especially in the case of Larissa who lost two children.

Larissa struggles to process her emotions after the disappearance of her son and the death of her daughter. Her actions stem from the emotional turmoil she goes through. Will she find a place of solace after such horrifying events? The author is brilliant at weaving naturalistic conversations. I enjoyed reading your review.

A very immersive book. The agonies of losing loved ones are indescribable. But the author still found a way to pen it down in a very connective way.
Larissa in the story was a well developed character, and she was understood and very relatable. The dialogues are another aspect of the book I'd give ten thumbs up too. Great work.

Follow the emotional journey of Larissa to discover comfort and healing until its conclusion that love does not die:
'Not yet fully comprehending the disappearance of her son, Eric, Larissa Whitcomb is thrust into a world of further pain with the death of her daughter, Emma. "Comfort in the Wings" by Jennifer Collins is a story of love, loss, and the possibility of redemption. The storyline is soft, smooth, and easy-flowing. It is set so that someone who has a personal experience with such loss can relate to it.'

I cannot imagine how one can live through both the disappearance of a son and the loss of a daughter. It must be immensely difficult to find a reason to live after that. This is a story about living after such a tragedy.
