A romantic relationship that forces you to give up your dreams is not worth maintaining to me. Still, I would commend Scott for his self-sacrificing spirit. Good review.

The plotline of this book sounds intriguing. The main characters' struggles are relatable even though this book is fictional. Career over relationship sounds devastating but I guess there are a lot of lessons to learn in this book. Thank you for your wonderful review

I'm curious to know how Scott managed his relationship. It's not easy to manage differences in a relationship. Most people break up. I hope the new career excites him. Thanks for the nice review.

Amazing book. A.M. Morrell's L.A. Dreams reinforced my belief that individuals should prioritize their careers over any relationship. Having had a close relationship with a drug addict, I loved the way the author handled a situation with one in this book. Reading is recommended to discover if fate will make a love story between them possible. This book taught me another perspective on how a relationship can make or mar you. While one relationship seems to be pulling you down, another will pull you up. Those interested in reading about the story of a young man who had to determine a career path as well as how relationships affected it will appreciate this book. let me know in the comments guys :)

On a personal level I believe that for a relationship to work some compromise must be done. However if one feels that it may not work speaking out is another level to a better relationship. Having read the review am curious to know how scott managed his relationship. I am impressed by the review and congratulations to the BOTD.

I agree with the author that relationships can either add to you or take away from you. Thank you for your review

I'm not sure whether I agree with your comment about putting careers above relationships. If your meaning is that one should seek a relationship in which your partner supports your career rather than one who doesn't fully support you in it, then yes, I agree. If you mean that an established relationship is not as important as a newer career, I must disagree. There are compromises to be made, on both sides. Thank you for your review.

What an intriguing book!
The themes of romance, love, class, and compromise blend well in this story; they present a unique perspective about romantic relationships and compromises. Still, I'd not wish to be in Scott's shoes – having to choose between heartfelt experiences like a romantic relationship and a loved career is quite the dilemma. The author makes this book interesting to read through his expert use of words to create endearing descriptions. The description of the actions of the lovebirds induce butterflies in the stomach and smile on the lips.

"L.A. Dreams" by A.M. Morrell. An interesting story book, talks about Scott having to join the singing band as a career with Jesse, Trent, and Greg when must have moved to the city Los Angeles. Scott eventually fell in love with a lady of high caliber. I love the author's way of writing and easy to understand while reading. Congrats on your #BOTD.
