I feel the writer has tried to delve into human emotions in this collection of short stories. I would read these stories.
The disappearance of the word "I am" is indeed the highest happiness! :)

Excited to read a collection of short stories. A literary gift to engage in the adaptability of short stories. Great Reviews. Some of the reviews are quite short but informative.

I enjoy reading short stories, and there are 22 in this one. For a sample, I chose "How I Got Me Some Standards," and "The Lottery." I enjoyed both of them. The unique writing style, humor and the thought provoking content has me interested in this one.
A well-written review!

Thanks to the generous offer of being free book of the day, I will be able to enjoy these short stories. I like the fact that several of them touch upon recent history, such as the pandemic and Trumps' impeachment.

"Fact Check and More Probing Tales" by James Hanna, a book that features 22 short stories, with a theme about life lessons. It will be an interesting journey to read these stories in one book. And it will be fun to read " the land fish" and "A Diamond as Big As A Black Eyed Pea" among others. A book to be read.

Twenty two stories that are humorous but also get you thinking sound fascinating.
The titles also sound alluring, e.g., The Land Fish and The Good Pimp. I like that the tales are varied and explore various facets of modern life. Thank you for your informative review.

Hanna explores the various aspects of modern life in his book, and his experiences in Australia and with his extensive work in Criminal Justice give his tales depth and relatability. In his stories, he makes connections to both contemporary pop culture and the classics, which I find appealing. Some stories revolve on enlightening talks between the narrator and his wife. My thinking bug was triggered by conversations about one's favorite music, what one would do if one could travel back in time, and one's imaginary friend from childhood.
